Passeig lluis companys. Social housing.

 

The intervention creates public space inside the city block and tries to make space for a number of circulations which at the time don't seem to add up the right way. Making social housing in an urban context involves working on a large range of scales: the city, the building, the house. The projecte tries to articulate those three scales in a similar way: a void, an empty space dedicated to communal activity, wich happens in the street and then repeats inside the domestic spaces. When it comes to social housing working with modules is a way to simplify the project and make it more affordable. At the same time the shape of the module comes from the study of the site and articulates the hole intervention.
